LPG Cylinder Prices Reduced

New Delhi : The Consumers have got a big relief from the reduction in the prices of gas cylinders before the Lok Sabha elections. The prices of commercial cylinders have been reduced on the first day of the new financial year. 19 kg LPG cylinder has become cheaper by Rs 32. The new rates have come into effect from today.

Oil selling companies have given big relief to consumers by cutting the price of commercial LPG cylinders on the first day of the new financial year i.e. 1 April 2024. According to the new rates, the price of 19 kg LPG cylinder in the capital Delhi has reduced by Rs 30.50 to Rs 1764.50. The price of commercial cylinder in Kolkata has decreased by Rs 32 to Rs 1879. The price of cylinder in Mumbai has decreased by Rs 31.50 to Rs 1717.50. Also, in Chennai it has come down by Rs 30.50 to Rs 1930.

Meanwhile, according to the IOCL website, these revised rates have been implemented from April 1, 2024. Earlier, the price of 19 kg cylinder was increased for two consecutive months. On March 1, a 19 kg LPG cylinder was available for Rs 1795 in Delhi, Rs 1911 in Kolkata, Rs 1749 in Mumbai and Rs 1960.50 in Chennai.

Let us tell you that there has been no change in the price of 14 kg LPG cylinder for domestic use. Rs 802.50 per cylinder for domestic use in Mumbai. Domestic cylinder is available for Rs 803 in Delhi, Rs 829 in Kolkata and Rs 818.50 in Chennai.
