Mumbai : Mukesh Ambani’s Reliance Jio has recently launched affordable 5G smartphones in India, aiming to provide a smartphone experience at low prices. These smartphones have gained a tremendous response from customers due to their attractive pricing and easy payment plans. To further cater to users’ needs, Mukesh Ambani is reportedly preparing to launch a new Jio Phone in India.
According to leaks from tipster Abhishek Yadav, the upcoming Jio Phone 5G is expected to offer improved hardware compared to the previous model. The official launch of the new Jio Phone 5G is anticipated to take place at Reliance Industries Limited’s Annual General Meeting (AGM) later this year. In the coming months, we can expect more leaks and information about this upcoming smartphone to surface on the internet.
According to the leaked details, the new Jio Phone 5G will be equipped with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 480+ SoC. Internally known by the codename ‘Ganga,’ the phone will feature 4GB of Samsung’s LPPDDR4X RAM and 32GB of storage, expandable with a microSD card. The device is expected to sport a 6.5-inch IPS LCD HD+ display with a 90Hz refresh rate.
In terms of the camera, the Jio Phone 5G will likely boast a dual rear camera setup, including a 13MP primary camera sensor and a 2MP secondary sensor. For video calls and selfies, an 8MP camera is expected. The device is rumored to be powered by a 5000mAh battery with 18W fast charging support.
