The first official reunion of Aides-de-camp (ADC) to the President of India was hosted on May 4, 2014 at Rashtrapati Bhavan. These aides gathered not just from across the country but from various countries like US, Australia, UK, Egypt and UAE.
Speaking on the occasion, the President stated that he considers ADCs to be not only constant companions of the President but the most valued colleagues of the Head of State. He stated that each one of the ADCs present was associated with his eminent predecessors. He urged them to always bear in mind that they were never guests but inmates of this House, each and every part of which is associated not only with imperial history but the history of our country, its people and its future.
This reunion was attended by ADCs past and present representing the time of all the Presidencies since independence. Rear Adm. (Retd.) Kirpal Singh ADC to Shri C.
