Chief Minister Raghubar Das said that Ranchi Polytechnic should be developed as an important center of skill development in such a way that it could be known at the national level. It should be rejuvenated in the first phase and cordoning started immediately. The CM directed it in a high-level meeting in his office chamber at Project Building.
The CM said that 444 families are being rehabilitated in the buildings made by JUDCO on one part of the encroached land to the east of the college as per the order of the high court. He said that the 50-60 temporary cottages to the east of the premises should be shifted to the west in 2 days and the premises should be cordoned strong. The Ranchi DC should do it promptly and Building Construction Sec should observe it. He directed the Higher Education Sec to develop it as an important center of skill development.
CS Mrs. Raj Bala Verma, Addl. CS Mr. Amit Khare, Sec to CM Mr. Sunil Barnwal, Higher Education Minister Mr. Ajay Kumar, Building Construction Sec Mr. K. K. Soan, South Chotanagpur Commissioner Mr. D. C. Mishra, Ranchi DC and Ranchi Municipal Corp. CEO was present on this occasion.
