Rajasthan senior citizen pilgrimage scheme will start soon

Devasthan Minister Smt. Shakuntala Rawat said that the Rajasthan Senior Citizen Teerth Yojana, which is closed in the state due to Corona, will be started soon. Along with this, all the temples coming under the Devasthan will be renovated. He said that the State Government is committed to renovate all the temples under the Devasthan.

The Devasthan Minister said that the Rajasthan Senior Citizen Teerth Yojana, which has been closed for the last two years due to the Corona epidemic, will be started very soon. He said that Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot has released a budget of Rs 30 crore for the pilgrimage scheme. The state government will get about 20 thousand passengers to visit pilgrimage sites by train and plane. Mrs Rawat informed that under the Rajasthan Senior Citizen Teerth Scheme,
passengers are going to Rameshwaram, Jagannathpuri, Tirupati, Dwarkapuri, Vaishnodevi, Delhi-Agra-Mathura-Vrindavan, Sammedshikhar, Pavapuri by train. The state government has also added Gangasagar, Kamakhya temple and Mahakal temple of Ujjain, expanding the scope of pilgrimage sites. Now travelers will be able to visit 11 pilgrimage sites.
