Chief Minister Shri Ashok Gehlot has said that the youth, sportspersons, women, professionals and students are important associates in development of the state. It should be ensured that their talent was properly utilized and for this necessary provisions were needed to be included in the State Budget. He said that proper consideration was given to the suggestions from the young or women professionals and students in the last year's budget and so would be done for the forthcoming state budget as well.
Shri Gehlot was having a pre-budget dialogue with the youth, sportspersons, women, professionals and meritorious students at the State Secretariat on Friday. He said, "We need to have important valuable suggestions from you as per your aspirations and expectations from the state government." The CM said that youth in Rajasthan had lots of talent and they should become the partners in development on their own merit. The government would motivate them on every step and provide sufficient resources, he added.
In the meeting, the young men and women expressed their gratitude to the Chief Minister for organising State Games the first time in Rajasthan and also for making provision of 2% reservation quota in government jobs for the sportspersons, who would excel and show mettle at national and international championships. This would develop the interest of young generation of the state in sports activities.
Women professionals also praised the state government for taking decisions for empowerment of women. They expressed gratitude to CM Shri Gehlot for creating fund of Rs. 1,000 crore for ‘I M Shakti’ scheme. Youth and women gave several suggestions about promotion of education, skill development, employment, sports activities and related subjects.

Mamta Bhupesh, Minister of State for Youth Affairs & Sports Shri Ashok Chandna, Chairperson of Rajasthan State Commission for Protection of Child Rights Smt. Sangeeta Beniwal, Chief Secretary Shri DB Gupta, Additional Chief Secretary Finance Shri Niranjan Arya, Advisor to Chief Minister Shri Govind Sharma, additional chief secretaries, principal secretaries and secretaries of various departments, sportspersons, women, professionals and students were present in the meeting.
