Prof. Prem Kumar Dhumal, Chief Minister, today released ‘Sufi Sant Sai Bullay Shah’ written by renowned litterateur Dr. Om Prakash Saraswat, here today.
Chief Minister congratulated the author for bringing out an important book to educate readers about the life and creativities of Punjabi Sufi Poet Bullay Shah. He said poetry of Saint Bullay Shah were literary, awakening and unique example of public opinion. He said that there was need to bring out such books based upon the teachings of saints and sages so that modern day society was enlightened about the rich Indian heritage. He said that saints and sages had been ambassadors of love, harmony, brotherhood and social values.
Shri Sudarshan Vashisht, former Secretary, Language and Culture Academy and a renowned littérateur, Dr. Dinesh Kunwar, Poet were also present on the occasion.
