A bi-monthly Hindi magazine on agriculture and horticulture ‘The Grower of India’ has been started from Shimla. The magazine is being brought out by a team of young horticulturists and being edited by Shri Vikas Chauhan.
The magazine was formally launched by the Chief Minister Prof. Prem Kumar Dhumal here today.
Chief Minister congratulated the progressive young growers for bringing out a magazine and expressed hope that it would be of immense us to the farmers of the State. He said that Himachal Pradesh happened to be an agrarian society where major chunk of population was dependant on farming for livelihood.
Shri Mahijeet Sarkaik, Managing Editor, Shri Umesh Sharma, Patron, Shri Kush Bhardwaj, Shri Pawan Khimta, Shri Ved Prakash and Shri Saurabh Chauhan were also present on the occasion.
