98 people had filled the form for the presidential election 2022, out of which only 2 candidates are left. After the process of enrollment and scrutiny was over, the papers of the remaining people were rejected.

July 2 is the last date for withdrawal of nominations. According to the data released by the presiding officer of the election, a total of 98 people filed 115 sets of nomination papers till the last date for nominations ended on June 29. Out of these, the nominations of 26 people were canceled at the same time due to technical reasons,

when he had filled it. The nomination papers of the remaining 72 people were scrutinized on Thursday, out of which only NDA candidate Draupadi Murmu and UPA candidate Yashwant Sinha’s nominations were found correct.

According to the data, nomination papers were filed from 17 states including Delhi. Out of these, maximum 19 people filed nominations from Delhi, while 16 people from Uttar Pradesh, who came second. Similarly, 11 people from Maharashtra and 10 from Tamil Nadu filled the form. 10 women including Draupadi Murmu were also among those who filed nominations.
