New Delhi : Preparations for Lok Sabha elections have been completed, code of conduct is going to be imposed soon. In such a situation, the parties have also prepared to open their boxes of promises for the general public. At the same time, the preparations of the Central Election Commission are also almost complete. Meanwhile, political experts are saying that from the indications received so far, it seems that BJP seems to be in a strong position to come to power for the third consecutive time. But the opposition alliance has also not given up hope of victory. According to sources, the opposition alliance is going to make a series of tempting promises this time to compete with the Narendra Modi-led BJP. Congress has already promised farmers to purchase crops at MSP i.e. Minimum Support Price. At the same time, Alliance India of opposition parties can also soon release a joint manifesto, in which a list of attractive promises can be seen for every section.

This time, BJP has also prepared to make a comprehensive manifesto keeping in mind the intentions of the opposition. The party has claimed that it will prepare its manifesto by talking to more than one crore people in the country. Whereas the India Alliance can enter the general elections with big populist promises. In this, apart from monthly salary, there may also be promises of loan waiver for women and unemployed people.

If sources are to be believed, such promises may be announced soon by the alliance of opposition parties. The opposition wants to extend the trend seen in the recently held assembly elections in the upcoming general elections also. The tempting promises in the assembly elections were considered as game changers. But it did not happen that only the opposition parties came into the field with such promises. BJP was also not behind in this. Experts are saying that for the last few years, the trend of giving fixed amount every month to some sections of the society has proved successful.

Three months before the elections in Madhya Pradesh, BJP had launched Ladli Brahmin Yojana. Under this scheme, women are given an amount of Rs 1250 every month. The party had contested the elections there also on the basis of this plan. Earlier, by winning elections in Karnataka and Himachal Pradesh with promises like old pension or providing electricity at cheaper rates, Congress termed such promises as successful. Aam Aadmi Party started it from Delhi and on the basis of this, the door to power opened for it in Punjab also.
