Chandigarh :  Before the Lok Sabha elections, the BJP-JJP alliance has broken in Haryana. After the BJP Legislature Party meeting in Chandigarh, the CM reached Raj Bhavan with his cabinet and submitted the resignation of the entire cabinet. Now the swearing in ceremony will take place at 1 pm. According to sources, Deputy CM Dushyant Chautala has returned his government vehicles. Apart from this, there is news of split in JJP also. According to sources, JJP MLA Devendra Babli will also attend the BJP meeting. Observers Arjun Munda and Tarun Chugh have left for Chandigarh for the meeting. According to sources, the legislative party meeting is being held under the chairmanship of CM Manohar Lal. A new leader will be elected in the meeting. It will be decided in the meeting itself whether the party will contest the elections under the leadership of Manohar Lal or a new face will emerge. According to sources, some faces of the cabinet will be changed. Independents will be given more importance in the new cabinet.

Meanwhile, Sirsa MLA and Haryana Lokhit Party President Gopal Kanda has said that the alliance (BJP-JJP) has almost broken. BJP will win all 10 seats in the Lok Sabha elections. Haryana government will win even without JJP. Meanwhile, Haryana’s independent MLA Nayan Pal Rawat said that we have already given our support to the government led by CM Manohar Lal. The strategy for Lok Sabha elections was also discussed in the meeting with CM Manohar Lal. From the conversation I got the impression that the beginning of breaking the alliance with JJP has already started. Meanwhile, independent MLA from Nilokheri, Dharampal Gondar, while meeting CM Manohar Lal, said that we had already supported BJP. In the meeting with the CM we discussed about the work being done in the constituency. However, we did not discuss anything about the alliance.

According to sources, the alliance has broken due to lack of consensus on seat sharing in the Lok Sabha elections. Jannayak Janata Party has called a meeting in Delhi. Senior party leaders and MLAs will participate in the discussion at the residence of Deputy Chief Minister Dushyant Chautala. Earlier late in the evening, the CM had also held an informal cabinet meeting at his residence. Many ministers including Home Minister Anil Vij, Education Minister Kanwarpal Gurjar, Agriculture Minister JP Dalal were present in it. Deputy Speaker Ranbir Gangwa was also in the meeting. According to sources, many important issues including Lok Sabha elections were discussed in the meeting. However, no JJP minister including Deputy CM Dushyant Chautala attended this meeting.
