New Delhi – :Prime Minister Narendra Modi held a review meeting on Monday regarding Cyclone Biparjoy. In this, preparedness to deal with the cyclone will be discussed. It has been told that agencies and officials associated with NDRF will participate in the meeting. Biparjoy has become a severe cyclonic storm.
It is expected to hit Saurashtra and Kutch region of Gujarat by June 15. An alert has also been issued regarding the impact of the cyclone in seven districts of Gujarat. Fishing has been banned by the authorities in the state’s southern and northern coasts. With this, sensing the danger, 1300 people have been shifted to safer places.
