PM Modi’s Call to Embrace Startup Culture : In the Startup Mahakumbh organized at Bharat Mandapam in Delhi, PM Modi said that startup has now become a culture. At present there are more than 1.25 lakh startups in the country, not only this, 12 lakh youth are associated with startups. While taunting his opponents in a light tone, he said that some people do startups in politics also. Some people have to launch again and again. At the same time, PM Modi said that today India’s startup revolution is being led by the youth of small towns of the country.

The Prime Minister said that if India has emerged today as a new hope, a new power for the global startup space, then there has been a well-thought-out vision behind it. The country provided a platform to innovative ideas under the Startup India campaign and connected them to sources of funding. We also launched a campaign to set up incubators in educational institutions and started ‘Atal Tinkering Lab’ as its nursery.

PM Modi said that I am happy that today startups in agriculture, textile, medicine, transport, space and even yoga and Ayurveda have started. Indian startups are doing very well in more than 50 sectors of the space. Our startups have already started launching space shuttles. Today the whole world is seeing the potential of India’s youth power.
