PM Modi leaves for Bali to attend G20 Leaders Summit

Prime Minister Narendra Modi will participate in sessions on food and energy security, health as well as digital transformation at the G20 summit in Bali, Indonesia. Foreign Secretary Vinay Kwatra gave this information on Sunday. He said the Prime Minister would leave for Bali on November 14 on a three-day visit to attend the summit. Modi is visiting Bali at the invitation of Indonesian President Joko Widodo.

Kwatra further said that Modi will hold discussions with other world leaders on various issues related to energy, environment and digital transformation. US President Joe Biden, British Prime Minister Rishi Sunak, Chinese President Xi Jinping and many other world leaders will attend the G20 summit.

Kwatra said that apart from this, Modi will also participate in several bilateral meetings with some world leaders. India will take over the chairmanship of G20 from Indonesia from December 1, 2022. PLC/GT
