China’s leading LEV li-ion battery manufacturer, Phylion, successfully rolled out 10 million li-ion battery packs. In 2003, Phylion delivered the first Light Electric Vehicle li-ion battery from the product line. The growth in demand saw the sales figure reaching 4 million in 2016 and subsequently 8 million in late 2018. The last year saw the company selling more than 2 million packs indicating a tremendous growth in the EV segment globally.
On achieving this milestone, Mr. FENG Xiao, Chairman and President of Phylion said, “Making lithium-ion battery is a conscience work, we need to be very pragmatic and rigorous, mistakes are not allowed because we are responsible for millions of users.
