PGI doctor wins “NextGen Young Neurosurgeon Award”

Dr. Dhandapani SS, Associate professor of Neurosurgery in PGIMER, Chandigarh, has been honored with “NextGen Young Neurosurgeon Award” selected by a jury of eminent neurosurgeons in the “6th International Neurosurgery Update of Asian Australasian Society of Neurological Surgeons” in Mumbai. This is for his work on “Minimally invasive keyhole approach for clipping aneurysms in Subarachnoid hemorrhage”. This method may be highly cost effective compared to other modes of minimally invasive treatments available for these aneurysms. He had previously completed Minimally Invasive & Endoscopic Neurosurgery Fellowship in Weill Cornell, New York, USA.
