People from far-flung Areas Can Witness the Pictures online from their homes too: Prof. Sood Jacob
An online exhibition has been arranged by Sobha Singh Fine Arts Department of Punjabi University Patiala in collaboration with the Museum and Art Gallery to showcase the paintings dedicated to Guru Teg Bahadur Ji's 400th birth anniversary.
Head of the Department, Dr. Ambalika Sood Jacob said that as per the directions of the Vice Chancellor Smt. Ravneet Kaur, in this online exhibition program dedicated to the 400th birth anniversary of Guru Tegh Bahadur Sahib, paintings related to the life and philosophy of Guru Tegh Bahadur Sahib have been exhibited. These paintings have been prepared by the students and faculty members and can be viewed online from home and abroad.
She further said that glimpses of Guru Sahib's life and His views based on his philosophy have been expressed through different paintings. Dr. Jacob said that all the students and faculty members enthusiastically participated in the program, which made the program a great success.
Dr. Ambalika Sood Jacob said that the paintings included in the online exhibition, have been brushed on canvass by the students and teachers of the department, have a distinctive expression of life of Guru Sahib. She said that the advantage of this online exhibition is that all the pictures included in it, can be viewed by the people from far and wide even while sitting at home.
