Basant Panchami was celebrated with great enthusiasm and fervor in Sector 16. The function was attended by D.K. Bansal MLA-Panchkula as Chief Guest. He participated in the celebrations and on this occasion he released “Parvaz-e-Sukhan”, a collection of Urdu Poetry / Ghazals written by Manmohan ‘Johar’ resident of sector-9. Johar has been writing Urdu Ghazals since his college days and this book is his first published collection. Johar is residing in city for the last 21 years and he got his passion of writing poetry and ghazals in his home town Malerkotla in Punjab where he was born. Johar is M.A.-English from Punjabi University Patiala and running his own business in Panchkula now.
