New Delhi,

Delhi’s iconic Oxford Bookstore witnessed the launch of “Silent Sun” by Ayushman Jamwal.  An interesting talk session between Ayushman Jamwal and journalist Radhika Dutta had been curated to discuss the idea around the poetry contained in the book .In one of his most celebrated songs, legendary rockstar Freddy Mercury once said that, “Outside the dawn is breaking, but inside in the darkness, I am aching to be free”.

It aptly describes the human condition in the modern era, the constant and elusive search for meaning in the absence of the struggle for survival. Through turmoil and happiness, all human beings want to achieve is the realisation of their place, purpose and the contours of their soul. This pursuit is something Ayushman Jamwal vividly captures in his latest poetry collection ‘Silent Sun’, telling and re-telling the same struggle through different eyes of humanity.

On this  special occasion, Ayushman Jamwal said, “Silent Sun is a celebration of the human drive for fulfilment expressed through the different eyes of humanity – women, soldiers, refugees, broken souls and broken hearts. It celebrates the passion that elevates all of us to be a little more than nothing, and the array of emotions that fuel that passion. The Oxford Bookstore has given me an appropriate platform to launch the book and connected me to so many kindred spirits and like-minded souls to share my work and celebrate the power of expression. I hope people connect to Silent Sun and find their fire between the lines.”
