The President of India, Shri Pranab Mukherjee has congratulated H.E. Peter M. Christian on his appointment as the eighth President of the Federated States of Micronesia.
In his message to H.E. Peter M. Christian, the President of Federated States of Micronesia, the President has said, “It gives me great pleasure to extend, on behalf of the Government and the people of India and on my own behalf, warm congratulations and felicitations on your assuming office as the eighth President of the Federated States of Micronesia.
Our two countries share a traditionally close and friendly relationship. I am confident that our deepening partnership will strengthen and diversify in the years to come. Together, we can address the common challenges that we face and take advantage of the opportunities in this era of global transformations.
