Haryana Chief Minister, Sh. Manohar Lal is dedicatedly working to ensure tackling of COVID-19 Pandemic in the state and while reiterating his commitment, for the third time in a week, Haryana Chief Minister, Sh. Manohar Lal conducted a whirlwind tour of five districts namely Kurukshetra, Sonipat, Sirsa, Bhiwani and Gurugram.
During his visit he reviewed various health facilities including supply of oxygen and other facilities being provided to the COVID patients in these districts and further directed the Administrative officers of these districts to gear up their arrangements to tackle the COVID-19 situation and further make efforts to contain the virus spread.
The Chief Minister visited Sirsa district and while interacting with the media persons there said that in a bid to break the COVID-19 transmission chain which is spreading swiftly, the State Government has decided that the lockdown in entire Haryana will continue till May 9, 2021,” said the Chief Minister.
He directed the officers that rate list of charges by the ambulances should be displayed in every hospital so that people do not face any problem while paying for them. With this, rate list of oxygen beds, ventilator beds, normal beds in every hospital should also, be displayed on the notice boards in all the hospitals so that patients visiting any hospital do not face any trouble.
The Chief Minister, had firstly visited Kurukshetra district and held a meeting with the officers regarding COVID-19 at the circuit house and discussed about the arrangements made in Kurukshetra to tackle this Pandemic. He also took feedback regarding the facilities being provided to the COVID-19 patients admitted in 13 hospitals that are registered on the portal. With this, the Chief Minister was also apprised about the availability of beds and other health facilities being provided to the patients admitted in these hospitals.
Later while speaking to reporters, the Chief Minister said that there is no shortage of oxygen in Haryana. The government has especially focused on the management of distribution of oxygen so that oxygen can be supplied to all hospitals as per the allocated quota. He informed that the oxygen quota in the Kurukshetra district has been increased from 4 MT to 6 MT.
The Chief Minister also visited the house of Late Sh. Rohit Sardana in sector-5 in Kurukshetra and expressed his deep condolences on the sad and untimely death of the senior journalist Late Sh. Rohit Sardana and consoled the heartbroken family. Kurukshetra MP Sh. Nayab Saini and MLA, Sh. Subhash Sudha also accompanied him.
Later while in Sonepat, the Chief Minister said that five oxygen plants will be started in the state soon and the equipment and machinery required for setting up these plants have been received for five districts namely Karnal, Panchkula, Hisar, Sirsa and Faridabad.
The Chief Minister said that 100 doctors are ready for a degree internship at BPS Medical College Khanpur. All these doctors will be sent to each district immediately, as per the requirement.
The Chief Minister during his visit to Sirsa held meeting with the officers concerned and reviewed arrangements made by them to tackle the ongoing Pandemic.
Later, while interacting with the media persons, Sh. Manohar Lal said that no stone would be left unturned to provide the best treatment for the COVID-19 patients.
Power Minister, Sh. Ranjit Singh was also present in the meeting.
While interacting with mediapersons, he said that “In a bid to break the COVID-19 transmission chain which is spreading swiftly, the State Government has decided that the lockdown in entire Haryana will continue till May 9, 2021,” said the Chief Minister.
During the Bhiwani tour, the Chief Minister held a meeting with the district officials and informed them that oxygen quota for the district has been increased from 2.5 MT to 3.5 MT, which will be further increased if required.
Meanwhile in Gurugram too, Sh. Manohar Lal discussed the COVID-19 situation in the district with the officials and gave the necessary directions.
