Officers should discharge their duties
Haryana Minister of State for Women and Child Development, Mrs. Kamlesh Dhanda said that by donating blood, we can save the life of a human being as there is no other alternative to blood, hence all young people should donate blood. Organizing blood donation camp by the younger generation is a commendable step as it carries a good message in the society, she added.
Mrs. Dhanda was speaking on the occasion of a blood donation camp organized under the joint aegis of Public Welfare Trust and District Red Cross Society in memory of the soldiers who attained martyrdom in the Pulwama attack. On this occasion, the Minister honored the blood donors with a badge. A total of 225 units of blood were collected during the camp. The Minister paid her tributes to martyrs and said that it was on this very day, last year, in 2019 that the brave sons of Mother India laid down their lives in the Pulwama terror attack.
She also said that the State Government is working for the welfare of every class and that the youth is being provided employment on the basis of merit. Apart from that, she said that all officers should complete the works of the common people on priority basis and schemes like pension and other schemes which have been implemented by the government for social security, should reach the beneficiaries on time.
She also said that all officers should discharge their duties with complete honesty and diligence and that strict action will be taken against negligent officers. On this occasion, Mrs. Arora also honored the members of the Red Cross with medals for their commendable work.
