A Spokesperson of the state government said here today that news is being circulated in a certain section of social media regarding night curfew in the state.
The Spokesman clarified that no night curfew has been imposed in any part of the state as of now and the news was baseless and devoid of facts. He added that only a few night restrictions have been imposed in Kangra district by the district administration in wake of sudden increase in number of Covid cases in the district.
The Spokesperson further said that state government has made it clear that as of now, there was no plan of any night restriction in the state. He said concerned district administrations would make final call regarding imposing night restrictions in their respective districts after consultation with the state government in case there was sharp surge in the Covid-19 cases.
