Nitin Gadkari will address a Convention of the Overseas Friends of BJP in London

Nitin Gadkari, President of India’s main opposition the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP),  will address a Convention of the Overseas Friends of BJP in London on Saturday, July 16,  where he will focus on the fast deteriorating security scenario in South Asia with special emphasis on Pakistan-sponsored terrorism against India.

The first ever Convention of the OFBJP assumes significance in view of the presence of a sizeable Non-Resident Indian (NRI) community and people of Indian origin in the UK.

President of the BJP, which is ruling in nine Indian states, including the prosperous states of Gujarat, Madhya Pradesh & Karnataka, the main hubs of foreign direct investments, will be talking about the Indo-British economic cooperation in various fields during his Meeting with Business Leaders, Interaction with Members of Indo -European Business Forum and at a luncheon by London Chambers of Commerce.

All Party Parliamentary Group on Trade & Investment with India and Commonwealth Business Forum has also organised a Business Meeting with Indian and British industrialists where Mr. Gadkari will invite Indo-British collaborations in the BJP-ruled states in sectors of mutual interest.

The entire gamut of Indo-British relations will come up at a meeting the BJP president will have with the Indo – British All Party Parliamentary Group and some other British leaders.

During his six-day visit, Mr. Gadkari is scheduled to address a gathering of the Telangana Development Forum, UK, besides visiting the Southall Gurudwara and Swaminarayan Temple in Neasden.
