Ladies Organisation (FLO) , the apex women trade body is organising a Interactive session titled “News as an Agent of Social Change” with eminent Television news personality Arnab Goswami , who is an Oxford University graduate on Friday, July 28 at Federation House in New Delhi .
Mr Arnab Goswami is currently heading news channel Republic TV which was launched on 6 May 2017.
As a part of its activities, FLO brings together achievers from various arenas for interactive sessions on breaking through challenges and innovating change to achieve success. Arnab Goswami is an inspirational leader and a role model for not only journalists but youth in general.
The interactive session was an opportunity for the members to pick up tips, advice and ideas for success and innovation.
FLO President, Ms Vasvi Bharat Ram said, “FLO is the most apt platform to connect, learn and grow. We recognise the success stories of true achievers and provide a platform for the members to be inspired by them. This programme was an excellent opportunity to be motivated by the inspiring success story of Arnab Goswami and learn about his journey to success.”
She further said, “Considering the fact that media persons have to walk a tightrope between the establishment and their duty to the citizenry, the bottom line imperative ought to be fairness, truthfulness, and objectivity in their reporting. We heard from the stalwart himself, the journey of being the valiant news-person that he is, the challenges and the achievements in the pathway to success , the most talked about Times Now breakaway, and the return with the bang ‘Republic’- all of these and much more.”
She added, “The forthcoming interactive session has been designed with the objective to empower the women members of FLO members with the essential mantras for success and help them find the keys to greatness, unlock the secrets of their ability to innovate, break the conventions, overcome challenges and generate strategies for being good leaders in their respective fields, with special reference to the world of news and media. If you are willing to chase your dreams and find the right path to success, and be a valiant outspoken leader in media or any other arena, this session will do wonders for you”.
