Apart from this, many issues start arising in the uterus of women at the age of 35 to 40 years. In such a situation, the woman needs egg donation along with surrogacy. Women had filed a petition in SC

Year 2023: A woman suffering from Mayer-Rokitansky-Küster-Hauser syndrome had filed a petition in the Supreme Court that her body was not able to produce eggs. Many aggrieved women approached the Supreme Court for relief regarding Rule 7 made under the Surrogacy Act. After this, the Supreme Court gave permission to the woman to use donor eggs.

What is written in the notification of the Government of India?

The notification states that surrogacy using donor gametes will be permitted if the District Medical Board certifies that either spouse of the intending couple is suffering from a medical condition that requires donor gametes. Is.
