Tel Aviv : Israel yields to President Biden’s diplomatic pressure, reopening Erez Crossing and Port Ashdod to provide crucial humanitarian aid and relief for Gaza’s residents , Israel’s new decision comes hours after a phone conversation between Biden and Netanyahu. Joe Biden has asked Netanyahu to announce and implement concrete steps for the human beings being killed in Gaza. Under pressure from Biden, Israeli officials announced on Thursday that the Erez border would be reopened to allow more humanitarian aid to reach Gaza.
It was due to Joe Biden’s pressure that apart from this, approval has also been given to open Israel’s port Ashdod. Let us tell you, Erez Crossing Border is also known as Beit Hanoun. It is on the border between Israel and the northern Gaza Strip.
