NDMC organised 16th Suvidha Camp to redress Public Grievances
Aiming to provide information, facilitation and grievance redressal for the benefit of its residents/services users, RWAs, MTAs, Stakeholders and other individual, New Delhi Municipal Council (NDMC) organized a ‘Suvidha Camp’ at NDMC Convention Centre, New Delhi today.
Over 82 public grievances were received in person in the camp and these were discussed face to face by the public with the officials of various NDMC departments to resolve them speedily. Grievances requiring policy level decisions process were explained alongwith likely timelines of their redressal.
The Chairman, NDMC, Shri Dharmendra accompanied by Secretary, NDMC, Dr. Rashmi Singh and other senior officers, supervised the camp by taking round of various desks / tables and interacted with the complainants. Directions were given to all concerned to resolve all complaints timely and to provide all assistance, information and redressal for grievances as soon as possible. Over 100 officers / officials of 27 departments of NDMC were present on the occasion.
The Health Department of NDMC also spread the message about Swachh Survekshan 2020 amongst the Members of RWAs, MTAs and residents of NDMC area. NDMC requested to all to work as one team in making NDMC to achieve No.1 Rank in forthcoming Swachh Survekshan 2020.
A Campaign to create awareness on fundamental duties amongst the citizen’s was undertaken organized through posters, standees, and banners at Suvidha Camp.
The camp was attended by the representatives of RWAs, MTAs, Stakeholders and other individual residents or users of the civic services alongwith existing or ex-employees of NDMC.
