NCHMCT will increase the number of student soon

National Council for Hotel Management and Catering Technology (NCHMCT) has decided to increase the student intake capacity of Institute of Hotel Management (IHM), Faridabad from 40 to 120 for the academic session 2014-15 to fulfill the increasing demand of hospitality education in the State. While giving this information today, Director General, Tourism, Haryana Mrs. Sumita Misra said that with this the intake capacity of students at IHM, Faridabad has tripled from 40 in 2013-14 to 120 in 2014-15. She said that IHM, Faridabad is the coveted Institute run under the continuous support and guidance of   Haryana Tourism Department and is affiliated to NCHMCT, Noida. The Institute is one of the pioneer Institute in Haryana established in the year 1989 as Food Craft Institute. It has been up-graded to Institute of Hotel Management in July 2009 with an intake capacity of 20 seats. In the year 2013-14 the seats were increased to 40. Mrs. Misra said that the Institute is running diploma as well as degree courses. It largely draws students and faculty from all cover the country. The Institute provides appropriate opportunity of learning and acquiring skills so that its product becomes strength of growth and development for the hospitality industry.
