New Delhi  : Survey Reveals Inclination Towards BJP:
In what could be a significant political shift, the traditionally Congress-favored North Assembly constituency of Bhopal, with its majority Muslim voters, seems to be leaning towards the BJP. The welfare schemes initiated during the BJP reign appear to have struck a chord with Muslim women in particular.

Survey Insights: A survey conducted by the Muslim Rashtriya Manch in Muslim-majority seats across the state suggests that an impressive 65 to 70 percent of Muslim voters might back the BJP. In contrast, other parties, including Congress, might only secure 30 to 35 percent of the Muslim votes.

The Power of Minority Votes: Minorities play a pivotal role in Madhya Pradesh’s political landscape, which consists of 230 assembly seats. Schemes like the Ladli Lakshmi and Ladli Brahmin Yojana, initiated under Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan’s leadership, have benefited every societal section. If the BJP manages to breach Congress’s stronghold in these areas, it would be a monumental achievement.

Shivraj Chauhan’s Assurance: Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chauhan, while campaigning in the North Assembly, emphasized his government’s non-discriminatory approach. He highlighted that under PM Narendra Modi’s vision of “Sabka Saath, Sabka Vikas”, every societal section reaps the benefits of government schemes.

Impact of Welfare Schemes: State welfare initiatives, such as the CM Shivraj’s Ladli Behna Yojana or Chief Minister Ladli Lakshmi Yojana, have positively impacted Muslim women. The Muslim Rashtriya Manch’s survey reflects that these welfare schemes have endeared “Uncle” Shivraj Singh Chouhan to the community, associating Muslim voters with mainstream development.

Muslim Voter Demographics: Although cities like Bhopal, Indore, Khandwa, and Burhanpur have significant Muslim populations, political analysts pinpoint 15 to 20 percent of the 230 assembly seats as being influenced by Muslim voters. Seats in areas like Bhopal North, Bhopal Central, Narela, Dewas, Shajapur, and several others see a substantial impact from Muslim voters.

Election Timeline: The Madhya Pradesh assembly elections are around the corner. Following the announcement of the election dates, the model code of conduct is now in place. Nominations will be accepted until October 30, with scrutiny scheduled for October 31. The last date for nomination withdrawals is November 2, with the polls set for November 17. The eagerly awaited results will be declared on December 3.

In conclusion, the changing political dynamics in Madhya Pradesh, as indicated by recent surveys, underscore the evolving voter sentiments. Whether these predictions will hold true remains to be seen on December 3.
