Munshi Prem Chand's Literature portrayed the pain of common people
Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel extended greetings to people of the state on the occasion of Munshi Prem Chand's birth anniversary on July 31. Commemorating the contribution of Munshi Prem Chand (Shri Dhanpatrai Shrivastav), Chief Minister Mr. Baghel said that he had woven the pain and problems of common people in his literature. Most of his creations are realistic portrayal of poverty and misery. He had skilfully written about issues such as communalism, corruption, feudalism, poverty etc. Prem Chand was a sensitive writer. His language was simple, lucid and included commonly spoken words, but his thoughts were progressive and soul-stirring. His literature is our invaluable heritage.
