More Than 2500 families will have their dream home
INVC, Raipur, Chief Minister Dr Raman Singh will inaugurate the first residential colony of sector 27 at Naya Raipur tomorrow at 4pm. This residential colony has been developed by Chhattisgarh Housing Board. The inaugural programme will be presided over by Vidhan Sabha Speaker Dharamlal Kaushik. In this programme, dignitaries namely Industry, Housing and Environment Minister Rajesh Moonat, MP Ramesh Bais, PWD Minister Brijmohan Agrawal, Food and Civil Supply Minister Punnu Lal Mohile, CGHB Chairman Subhash Rao, MLA Arang Rudra Guru, Raipur Jila Panchayat President Lakshmi Verma, Arang Janpad Panchayat President Deepak Bais, Raipur Jila Panchayat Member Teswan Baghel, Sarpanch Rakhi Village Chitralekha Sahu, Sarpanch of Khapri village Usha Tandon, will also grace the occasion. On the occasion, Chief Secretary of state Sunil Kumar, Principal Secretary Housing and Environment N Baijendra Kumar will also have their prominent presence. Commissioner of CGHB Sonmoni Borah reviewed the preparations of the inaugural function at Sector 27, along with other Board Officials. Commissioner Borah told that this residential colony at Sector-27 has been developed by Chhattisgarh Housing Board (CGHB) over the area of 156 acres of land, where 1832 flats and 833 independent bungalows have been constructed for 2665 families. The newly-constructed residential colony at Sector-27 Naya Raipur stands up to all the parameters of modern residential projects. To ensure the eco-friendly environment in the colony, CGHB has not only carried out plantation work in the colony area, but has also perpetrated avenue plantation on both sides of the broad roads in this sector. Moreover, a garden has also been developed near the colony. Hence, keeping all its promises and living up to the commitment, Chhattisgarh Housing Board has provided quality houses along with the beautiful ambience and eco-friendly environment. Further informing about the advanced facilities offered in the colony, Commissioner Borah said that the newly-constructed residential colony has all the advanced amenities as per the modern parameters, which includes underground cable system, underground sewerage treatment plant, recycling and water harvesting. Underground sewerage system will lead to hygienic atmosphere in the colony, while underground electricity supply will minimize the risk of accidents and efficient water supply system will ensure continuous supply of water in the colony. Water supply will be facilitated from Tila water reservoir and Pacheda filter plant, along with that water-harvesting system have also been installed for augmentation of rainwater, which will ensure zero water scarcity problem in the colony. To promote social activities in the colony, plots have been marked for construction of community hall, school, and health centre. Moreover, a commercial complex, consisting 16 small shops, has also been built to promote commercial activities. 20 per cent of these shops will be reserved for the project affected people. Moreover, the commercial complex developed in the south-east area of the colony has shops for other basic facilities like milk parlor, vegetable parlor, salons etc, that will be allotted to the local or displaced families at 'no profit no loss' basis. Besides, provisions have been made for the offices of bank, post office and insurance companies in the colony, and land has been allotted for BSNL telephone exchange.
