New Delhi   – : Monsoon has already knocked. While heavy rains have started in Kerala and Coastal Karnataka, North India is still reeling under severe heat. Weather patterns are changing across the country. In North India, including Delhi-NCR, where people are suffering due to rising mercury, there is heavy rain in Kerala and Coastal Karnataka due to the arrival of Monsoon.

The Indian Meteorological Department said that the people of Delhi NCR will not get relief from the heat. The temperature will continue to rise. According to IMD, there is a possibility of heatwave in Bihar, Jharkhand, Odisha, West Bengal, Uttar Pradesh, Punjab, Andhra Pradesh and Telangana for the next three to four days. Here in Uttar Pradesh, the temperature has crossed 43 degrees in many areas. It is difficult for people to leave their homes. The weather is likely to remain like this for the next few days. Here in Punjab also people are facing severe heat. However, the IMD has said that light rain may occur in many areas on Sunday.

The summer heat continues in the country’s capital Delhi. According to the Meteorological Department, the mercury is likely to cross 42 degrees today. Along with this, the possibility of light rain has also been expressed. Here the cyclonic storm Biparjoy is likely to intensify further in the next 24 hours. The storm is moving north-northeast. Due to this, high waves are rising at Tithal Beach in Valsad on the Arabian Sea coast, due to which Tithal Beach has been closed for tourists till June 14. According to the Meteorological Department, the southwest monsoon has knocked in Kerala. Now it is preparing to enter Karnataka and Tamil Nadu. At the same time, there is a possibility of rain in the North East states in the next two days. The reason for this is the formation of a low pressure area over the Bay of North East Bengal.

According to the Indian Meteorological Department, Northeast India, Manipur, Mizoram and Tripura may receive heavy rains today. Heavy rain is likely over Assam and Meghalaya on Monday and Tuesday. In South India, heavy rains are likely over Kerala, Coastal Karnataka and Lakshadweep during the next three days. Sub-Himalayan West Bengal and Sikkim are expected to receive heavy rains from Sunday to Tuesday. According to the Meteorological Department, the mercury will be low in the central regions of India in the next two days.
