The students coming under minority category in India like Sikhs, Muslims, Buddhists, Jainism and Parsi can now avail the benefit of MOMA scholarship in Chandigarh based Aryans Group of Colleges also. While interacting with media, Dr Anshu Kataria, Chairman, Aryans Group of Colleges said that as Aryans name has been added on MOMA scholarship website, so the students who are interested to take admission in Aryans but finance is their constraint, can avail benefit of this.
He added that the students who want to apply for MOMA scholarship should not have more than 2,50,000 annual income of their parents/guardians. The student should have at least 50% marks at higher secondary/graduation level. And also applicant applying for MOMA scholarship cannot avail any other scholarship from any other source. Mr. Brijpal Singh Sidhu, Registrar, Aryans Group of Colleges said that  “MOMA scholarship, also known as Prime Minister’s New 15 Point Program, is meant for the welfare and for financial assistance to brilliant students of minority class. It provides a big support to these students to obtain higher as well as professional qualification. About 30% scholarships are allotted to intelligent girl students. But maximum of 2 students from a same family can apply for it”. Prof AP Jain, Director, Aryans Group of Colleges said that Aryans Group of Colleges is GMAT, GRE and XAT allied college of this region also the college uses CAT and MAT scores for admitting the candidates. The college has in its name the prestigious membership of Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business’ (AACSB), USA. In India only 22 Business Schools are the members of AACSB.
