Social activist, Dr Nutan Thakur today presented a memorandum in Raj Bhavan to the Governor of Uttar Pradesh as regards the abjectly improper and criminal comments made by Shiv Kumar Beria, Textile minister in UP. She has sent a copy of this to Chief Minister Akhilesh Yadav and Samajwadi Party President Mulayam Singh Yadav. Thakur has said that the statements of Beria of tripping policemen’s uniform in not only objectionable it is also criminal in nature. She has prayed to immediately enquire into the matter and to register an FIR against Beria and sack him as a Minister if the facts are found true.
