Satya Pal Jain, Ex-City MP and National Incharge of the Legal & Legislative Cell of the BJP, has said that on the BJP’s coming to power at the Centre in the next Parliamentary Election, a Mazdoor Bhawan will be constructed in Chandigarh which will be completed dedicated to the poor workers and labourers of the Union Territory. Jain said this while addressing a large gathering of labourers at the Sector 40-41 Labour Chowk at a function organized by the All India Mazdoor Bhalai Manch in connection with the Maha Shiv Ratri celebrations today. The office-bearers of the Manch presented a Memorandum of their demands to Sh. Jain, who assured them that he will take up all these issues with the Chandigarh Administration. Mr. Jain said that because of the anti-poor and anti-people policies of the Congress Government, the poor are not able to celebrate even religious functions with full vigour due to the sky-touching price rise. Among others, Shri Pappu Shukla, Sh. Sardar Khan, Sh. Pritpal Singh and Sh. Raju Yadav were also present on this occasion. Later Sh. Jain, accompanied by BJP councillor Davesh Moudgil, also visited Shiv Temple in Sector 47, performed Pooja Archana and addressed the gathering.
