New York : All of you must be using WhatsApp. The biggest problem with WhatsApp has always been about chat transfer. Many third party apps provide the facility of WhatsApp chat transfer but there is a risk of data leak in it. Now WhatsApp has given the best feature to transfer chat. Now you can transfer WhatsApp chats from one phone to another by scanning the QR code.
Meta CEO Mark Zuckerberg has given information about this feature of WhatsApp through one of his Facebook posts. Now the chat history of WhatsApp can be easily transferred. Zuckerberg has said that it will be completely secure. There will be no problem regarding the size of the chat i.e. even if there are large files or attachments in your chat, the chat will be transferred smoothly.
With this, the condition is that both the devices should have the same operating system i.e. the chat will be transferred only when both the phones are either iPhone or Android i.e. from iPhone to Android and from Android to iPhone, the chat is not transferred by scanning the QR code. Currently, cloud backup is used to transfer chats. In the process of scanning the QR code, the data will not be backed up on the cloud. The best part is that you don’t even need to back up your WhatsApp data.
In this process i.e. QR code scan to transfer chat WhatsApp uses local Wi-Fi network i.e. it creates a Wi-Fi network between two devices. To transfer chats from the QR code, one has to go to the old phone’s WhatsApp settings and then click on Chats and go to Chats Transfer. After this, you will get the option to scan the QR code, which you will have to scan a new.
