what are beliefs
It is believed that Lord Vishnu, the preserver of the world, rests during Chaturmas. Lord goes to sleep from Devshayani Ekadashi. While any auspicious or auspicious work is prohibited in Chaturmas, Chaturmas ends on the day of Devuthani Ekadashi, after which all auspicious work starts. At the same time, Tulsi Vivah is also organized on this day. Tulsi is married to Lord Shaligram.
Devuthani Ekadashi fast worship method
The fasting should wake up early in the morning and retire from bathing. Light a lamp in the temple of the house and anoint Lord Vishnu with Gangajal. Offer flowers and Tulsi Dal to Lord Vishnu. Worship God, and offer bhog. Offer indulgences only to sattvik things. Along with Lord Vishnu, Goddess Lakshmi should also be worshiped on this day. On this day, do maximum meditation of Lord Vishnu. After worshiping the Lord, chant the following mantras with musical instruments like bell, conch, mridang etc.
