Legends Wrapped in Colour is a showcase of 40-45 paintings dedicated to Rajasthan and Doors of old Delhi.   (Shahjahanabad), whole event theme is heritage of old traditions, to showcase the rolling hills, lakes, palaces, deserts, multihued rocks, costumes and customs steeped and encircled as a motif within its glorious past.

Brief note on the exhibition: This is an effort to bring the magnificence of Rajasthan to the forefront has been undertaken primarily to show my enthusiasm and passion for the boundless imagery and treats, this land offers to one’s visuals, senses and mind. The paintings are an effort to capture nature’s panorama in its entire element. Through this exhibition the painter Saranjeet Singh wants to give a message of preserving the heritage and old traditions.  Hence, it is his zeal and commitment to constantly record and print this piece of history before its oblivion.

About the Painter:  Saranjeet Singh (SARNA) has done 27 Solo shows in New Delhi. Madras, Calcutta and Bombay. He has also participated in National Art Exhibition (1983, 84, 85). Sahitya Kala Parishad Delhi (1984), A.I.F.A.C.S (1981, 1985, 1986). Jahangir Art Gallery, Bombay. Work of Art (auctioned) in aid of Communal Harmony (Dec 1986).
