Haryana Police got the kidnapped school student ‘Parichay’ freed from Uttar Pradesh. Parichay is the son of a Kalanaur-based landowner Adarsh Malhotra who has been abducted on May 15 and his parents have been demanded a ransom of Rs two crore by the abductors.

While stating this here today, a spokesman of the Police department said that the police have arrested eight persons in this connection and seized two country made pistols, two cars, needle and syringe from their possession. The kidnappers have confessed that they had been travelling to different locations with the boy and gaving him sedative injections to keep him calm.

He said that a special team was constituted under the supervision of Deputy Superintendent of Police (DSP) Mr. Anil Yadav and Incharge, Crime Branch Mr Yashpal Khatana to nab the accused and to recover the student. Apart from this DSP, Sonipat Mr. Ajit Singh and Incharge Crime Branch, Jhajjar Mr. Lalit Kumar was also included in the team. He said that Deputy Inspector General of Police (Crime) of Gurgaon Mr. Vivek Sharma was also separately investigating the matter alongwith the cyber team.

He said that on Tuesday, the police conducted a raid in Uttar Pradesh and arrested Rohit , Ajay and Sandeep of Gadhipur, Sandeep of Dabauda, Ajay of Bhagibirod, Rajiv a resident of Karnawal, Ajay alias Annu of Bahadurgarh and Sanjeev, a resident of Bihar and recovered the student. The involvement of other accused in the case could be revealed only after the investigation, he added.
