Khanak Buddhiraja bagged the winner title of the IFA Zone Face of the Year Awards 2012. Shrishti emerged as second runner up while Priyanka Thakur stood as the first runner up. This was announced at Hotel JW Marriott late last night. Among other categories of sub titles the winners were Preet Dhaliwal for Ms Best Personality, Meenaxi for Ms Talented, Chandani for Ms Photogenic, Purnima for Ms Congeniality, Garima for Ms Beautiful Hairs, Monika Anand for Beautiful Skin, Ritu Pundir for Best Costume, Baljot for Ms Body Beautiful, Deepshikha for Ms Best Smile, Ishanvi for Ms Best Eyes and Shrishti for Ms Perfect Ten. The winners were given trophies. The Grand Finale of the event was held at Indradhanush Auditorium. To select the ultimate one from the 28 glamorous participants the panel of judges boasted some of the most renowned names of the industry including Bollywood icon Zeenat Aman, Fahion Photographer Mr Paramjeet Chawla, Senior Choreographer Mr Vijay Roy, Fashion Designer Mr Sidharat Agicha, Fashion make up stylist Mr Manoj Kumar and Executive Director of Deepak Builders Er Henna Singal. Guest of Honour remained Dr KK Khandelwal, IAS, Addl. Principal Secretary to the CM of Haryana, Financial Commissioner, Principal Secretary, Information, Public Relations and Cultural Affairs Dept, Govt of Haryana. Renowned Achor Pallab Bose hosted the show. Mr Sunil Bansal, Director, SMC Bizz and Founder, Face of the Year Awards, said, “Face of the year Awards have completed its 12 years today, and it was indeed one of the most awaited events of the entire region. Our motto from very first day was and is to promote talent and not money making. Our organization and team works on a single parameter that we don’t follow any parameters.”
