Film actress Kangana Ranaut has expressed her desire to contest elections. The actress on Saturday said that she wants to serve the people of Himachal Pradesh and for that she is ready to join politics. The Manali-based actress said it would be a matter of pride for her if she gets a chance to work for the betterment of the people of her home state.

Kangana Ranaut said, ‘If the government wants my participation in politics, then I will be fully prepared. Ahead of the assembly elections in Himachal Pradesh, this statement has been made at a program in Shimla. Elections in Himachal Pradesh are on 12 November and counting of votes will take place on 8 December.
Earlier, earlier this month, actress Kangana Ranaut had said that she does not want to enter politics professionally and has no such plans as she is focusing on her film career. It is known that the actress remains in the discussion due to her statements. PLC/GT
