Jumpin Heights unravels India’s First Extreme Adventure Zone in the mystic land of Rishikesh. It presents a triple treat for all those yearning to challenge and test their Guts! Jumpin Heights offers an array of unique adventures like Bungy Jump, Flying Fox and the Giant Swing. Brig SP Singh, Marketing Director, Jumpin Heights said, “Chandigarh and Punjab are our focus areas. Chandigarh is not only a modern city but it is also a city of youth with high aspirations. Youth of the city are known for their innovativeness and adventurous spirit. A lot of people reach foreign shores from Chandigarh and Punjab. Earlier, the people of this region used to prefer foreign countries to indulge in adventure sports like Bungee Jumping but now they come to us at Mohanchatti as we offer international standards. Also, the adventure sports facilities offered by us are far more affordable.” Jumpin Heights offers India’s highest Fixed Platform Bungy Jump facility, from a cantilever platform built over a rocky cliff at a height of 83 meters, overlooking a rocky river called Hiaul, a tributary of the holy Ganga. The Jumper has rubber chords tied to his ankle and feels the adrenalin rush like never before. One really gets very ecstatic after experiencing the thrill of the jump.
Adding to this, Jumpin Heights has Asia’s longest Flying Fox. The jump platform for the Flying Fox is 120 meters high and the flight distance is 1 km across the river valley. The jumper is harnessed to the wire and on release by gravity, rolls down the wire up to 7 meters above the river level and then goes up. Finally the wire returns and settles down at the lowest point. One accelerates up to maximum speed of 140-160 km per hour, feeling the air gushing past. The jumper is pulled back to the launch platform with the help of a retrieval mechanism. Three people can go at one time in tandem holding each other by interlocking their arms or else, those desirous, can perform it individually as well.
