INVC NEWS New Delhi, Referring to the soil of Jharkhand as culturally rich and traditionally fertile, Chief Minister Raghubar Das said that films will play a pivotal role in developing the culture and tourism of the state. He said that music and songs will play an important role in brushing up the image of the state in the world. He was addressing the people in the vicinity of Jagganathpur temple on the occasion of auspicious beginning of film ‘Gunday and Guddia’. Chief Minhister Mr. Raghubar Das said that after implementation of the Film Policy, it is the first film to be made in the state in which local artists will work. He said that the state abounds in film talents. Praising Mr. Kher for being associated with film making in the state, he said that the future of film making is bright in the state. It will boost up employment and tourism of the state. Mr. Das along with Mr. Kher worshipped in Jagganathpur temple also. Praising the CM and the film policy made by the state, Mr. Kher said that it is the result of the positive thought of the state that film makers of national and international repute are coming to the state to make their films. Referring to the film policy, the film actor said that the govt. has provisioned promotion amount for the films shot 75% in the state. He said that the film will be shot 100 percent in the state. that’s why ‘Gunday and Guddia’, despite being the first film of the Mr. Satwik Mohanti, he signed it. Before this also, he worked in the first movie of Mr. Neeraj Pandey and Mr. Diwakar Banerjee. Principal Secretary to the CM Mr. Sanjay Kumar, IPRD Director Mr. A. K. Pandey, HEC C.M. D. Mr. Abhijit Ghosh and artists related with film were present on this occasion.
