Jain Irrigation bags six PLEXCONCIL Top Exporter Awards for outstanding export performance.

Jain Irrigation Systems Limited bagged The Plastics Export Promotion Council (PLEXCONCIL) Top Exporter Award for outstanding export performance in three categories. The PLEXCONCIL Awards for the two financial years 2011-12 and 2012-13 were presented by M.P. Taparia, Managing Director of Supreme Industries at the PLEXCONCIL Biennial Export Award function in Mumbai today. A world leader in agricultural products, Jain Irrigation received the PLEXCONCIL Top Exporter Awards for 2011-12 in three categories, namely PVC Foam Sheets, Pipes & Hoses and Drip Irrigation Systems. The Company continued its outstanding performance and once again bagged the Top Exporter Award in 2012-13 for all the three categories. The awards were presented to the senior executives of the company; the 2011-12 awards were received by S.R. Balasubramaniam (PVC Foam Sheets), Mrs. Madhvi Patil (Pipes & Hoses) and V.L. Nikam (Drip Irrigation). The awards for 2012-13 were received jointly by Sanjay Daryapurkar, Y. Shrikant and Viquar Khan. PLEXCONCIL Awards are given in recognition of outstanding export performance. Jain Irrigation Systems Limited has been a recipient of the PLEXCONCIL Awards every year since 1991. With these awards, its total Awards tally now stands at 84. The company has 8,000 employees working in India and abroad, 9 manufacturing plants in India and a total of 29 plants worldwide, 146 offices & depots and 2929 distributors. The company is a manufacturer of a wide variety of PVC pipes, PE pipes, water and gas transportation pipes, ducts for optical fibre cables and drip irrigation pipes. It is also engaged in tissue culture of bananas and pomegranates and is the world’s largest processor of mangoes and is the world’s second largest processor of onions and vegetables.
