Kerzner International has appointed Ivy Kwan, Vice President of Sales & Marketing – Asia Pacific.In this role, Ms. Kwan will drive the successful positioning of the One&Only brand in Asia Pacific, as well drive outbound sales for the Kerzner group.

Ivy joins with twenty years of experience in award-winning luxury hotels in Asia and over a decade specifically focusing on the Chinese market. Her in-depth knowledge of Asia Pacific and proven track record will be invaluable as the Company grows throughout the region. Two One&Only Resorts are currently in development in the region—the iconic Hayman Island resort will be reflagged as One&Only Hayman Island resort in 2014 and One&Only Sanya in Hainan is currently in development. In addition, Kerzner has also announced plans to develop Atlantis, Sanya Hainan in China.
After earning her Diploma in Hotel Management from Les Roches, Switzerland, Ivy began her career at Shangri-La International Hotel Management in Malaysia where she grew from Management Trainee to Director in 8 short years. Her strong leadership abilities and focused outlook propelled her to join the pre-opening team as Director of Sales at The Westin in Shanghai where she was responsible for establishing the Sales & Marketing department.
Ivy then joined The Ritz-Carlton where she would stay for a decade until joining One&Only Resorts. As Director of Sales & Marketing for The Ritz-Carlton Hotel Company, Ivy was managing a team of 34 in Sales, Catering, Reservations, Public Relations, Marketing and Revenue Management tasked to contribute to the success of Ritz-Carlton Hong Kong as it stands to date.
Ivy was also part of the pre-opening team where she worked in tandem with key stakeholders to develop aggressive positioning strategies. At the Ritz-Carlton Global Leadership Conference in 2012, she was awarded Director of Sales & Marketing, Leader of the Year, Asia Pacific. During her time at Ritz-Carlton, the hotel accumulated numerous awards; proof of her strong ability for strategy and driving customer engagement.
