Mumbai : In IPL 2024, the 11th match between Lucknow Supergiants and Punjab Kings was played on Saturday at Ekana Stadium. In this high scoring match, Lucknow Supergiants batted strongly and won the match by 21 runs.
Quinton de Kock (54) and Shikhar Dhawan (70) were the batsmen who scored half-centuries in this match. On the basis of this excellent innings, Shikhar Dhawan has taken a huge leap in the Orange Cap list. Shikhar Dhawan scored 70 runs in 50 balls with the help of 7 fours and three sixes against LSG. The left-handed batsman has now reached the third position in the Orange Cap.
RCB batsman Virat Kohli has an orange cap. Virat Kohli played a brilliant inning of 83 runs against KKR, after which he won the Orange Cap, leaving behind Heinrich Klaasen of Hyderabad. Klaasen remains at number two.
Shikhar Dhawan has secured the third position. Nicholas Puran of Lucknow Supergiants has completed the top-5 list. Puran had scored 42 runs against Punjab in 21 balls with the help of three fours and three sixes. He played an important role in ousting Sanju Samson and Abhishek Sharma from the top-5.
