Even before the Global Investors Summit to be held on January 11-12, investment offers have started coming in the state. The Industries Department is expected to finalize at least 4000 investment agreements in the two days of the summit. In fact, before the discussions and meetings in the seventh summit to be held this year, the government and industry departments are making a concrete outline on investment proposals. Investments and agreements will be announced at the end from the forum of the summit. At the same time, in view of the immense possibilities of investment, the government has also started the system of making all the government permissions easily available to the investors. Under this system, now investors will not have to visit the offices to get permission to set up industries.

In the Global Investors Summit, 300 industrialists will hold one-to-one discussion with the Chief Minister with plans to invest in Madhya Pradesh. These are the industrialists who have done online registration for discussion with the Chief Minister at the Global Investors Summit. At the same time, 3000 Intentions of Investment have already come to the State Government and Industries Department. According to the department, a total of 4500 industry representatives have registered for the Global Investors Summit. 300 industrialists are registered for one-to-one discussion with the Chief Minister. In such a situation, it is almost certain that 4,000 investment proposals will land on the ground in two days of the summit. According to the information, 400 big industrialists and business houses have also been invited separately.

These include Adani Ambani Godrej Birla Group along with well-known FMCG company ITC Finance Company Bajaj and many big names. In the Global Investors Summit, industrialists were given the option that if they wish, the Chief Minister can hold one-to-one discussions with any departmental minister or principal secretary level officer of the state during the event.

For this, it was mandatory to get online registration done. While getting the registration done from the concerned industrialist, details of the company ranging from turnover to investment proposal were also sought. The option was given that the industrialists themselves can decide whether they want to discuss with the Chief Minister or talk directly to the Industries Minister and ministers and officials of other departments according to their investment and needs. On the portal, the industrialist had to click on the option of the concerned and give his information.

Immense possibilities of investment in the state
MP has all the basic facilities for industrial development. That’s why the attraction of investors has increased towards Madhya Pradesh. It has more than 47 lakh hectares of cultivable land which is connected by 10 major rivers. Along with horticulture crops, spices, orange, ginger, garlic, the state is also ahead in pulses, oilseeds and dairy products. There are 8 government food parks and 2 private mega food parks in the state. Industrial cluster developed in Pithampur in 4500 hectare is giving employment to more than 25 thousand people. Asia’s longest and fastest testing track Netrex has been set up in Indore. The state is the producer of 43 per cent Indian and 24 per cent global organic cotton. More than 4 thousand looms and 2.5 million 48 spindles are operated here in more than 60 textile units.

More than 1 lakh people have got employment from 300 pharma and medical units here. Medical Device Park has been established in Ujjain.

The state has 40 MMT warehousing and 13.2 MMT cold storage capacity. Construction of Multi Model Logistics Park is proposed in Indore and Bhopal. Sanchi has been developed as the first solar city of the state. World’s largest floating solar park (600 MW) is proposed at Omkareshwar.
