International Monetary Fund allocates $1.4 billion in additional aid to Ukraine

Ukraine-Russia war is going to be more than 6 months, there is devastation all around the country but now there is good news for the well wishers of Ukraine that they are driving the Russian troops out of the region.

Weapons are also being supplied from the West and now the International Monetary Fund has allocated $ 1.4 billion as additional aid to Ukraine and before that the Council of the European Union on September 9 gave Ukraine a 9 billion euro package i.e. 578 billion 10 An assistance amount of Rs 20 lakh was announced.

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky said on Twitter that he had a phone conversation with IMF Managing Director Kristalina Georgieva. They thanked for the allocation of additional $1.4 billion in aid and discussed future cooperation to enhance Ukraine’s financial stability. The Executive Board of the International Monetary Fund considered a plan to provide emergency funds to countries facing pressure from rising food inflation worldwide due to the war in Ukraine.

This plan of the IMF will help Ukraine, which has been attacked by Russia and other countries troubled by it, to cope with the inflation of food prices. PLV/GT
