Indian daughters have won the heart despite losing in final: Chouhan
INVC NEWS Bhopal, Captain of Indian Women Cricket team Sushri Mitali Raj met Chief Minister Shri Shivraj Singh Chouhan at CM House today. Sushri Mitali Raj is on a visit of Bhopal to participate in India –ASEAN Youth Summit. CM Shri Chouhan said that a civic reception will be organized by the state government at Bhopal to honour Indian Women Cricket team. A formal permission will be taken from the BCCI in this regard. Shri Chouhan congratulated Sushri Mitali Raj and other members of the Indian Women Cricket team. He said that despite defeat in the World Cup final, the entire India has celebrated Indian’s team performance. Praising the performance of Sushri Mitali Raj and other members of the team, Shri Chouhan said that there was full chance of winning till last minute. All the members of the team tried their best till the last minute. Shri Chouhan further mentioned that the Indian Women Cricket team has given a new height to the women cricket. Moreover, Shri Chouhan stated that Indian Women Cricket team displaying its excellent performance has proved that daughters of India are capable to clinch top positions in every field on their talent. He said that Indian daughters have won the heart despite losing in final. Shri Chouhan further mentioned that more new milestones of success have to be established. Shri Chouhan apprised Sushri Mitali Raj that immense works have been carried out in the state to promote sports which resulted in participation of players of the sports academies in national and international level competitions. He mentioned that full encouragement is being provided also to women hockey team. He told Sushri Mitali Raj for her excellent performance in future too. Sushri Mitali Raj lauded the sport facilities being provided in the state and expressed gratitude towards the Chief Minister.
